Data processing for AP0 and APA stations
Data from Apatity array (AP0) are transmitted to Apatity via radio-link. There they are stored in a disk loop together with data from Apatity broadband station APA for 14 days.
The disk loop is scanned (once in 30 min) by detection subsystem of EL which finds seismic events and extracts their fragments of recordings to store in CSS 3.0 files.
The results of location of found events are stored in a data base attached to the wave forms.
Detection and location routine makes STA/LTA detector and evaluates a rating function for a grid nodes. The rating function basically is a probability estimation that an event occured in a given grid cell. The algorithm is described in more details in Asming V.E. Ph.D thesis.
